Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or placing an order on Camdell, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Camdell.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at security@camdell.com.
Orders and payments
When you place an order, you enter into a contract directly with the merchant. Camdell facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the sale of goods. Prices are set by merchants and include applicable taxes where required by law.
Payment is collected at the time of order placement. If a merchant cancels your order, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
Delivery and pickup
Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (weather, traffic, network issues) do not constitute a breach of these terms. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
Returns and refunds
Most items purchased on Camdell can be returned within 7 days of delivery in their original condition. Perishable goods (food, fresh produce) are not eligible for return unless defective or incorrect. To start a return, go to Orders and select "Request return".
Refunds are processed within 48 hours of the return being collected and credited to your original payment method. Card refunds may take a further 3–5 business days to appear on your statement.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Camdell for any unlawful purpose.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or reviews.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform.
- Resell items purchased on Camdell without prior written consent.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse merchants, couriers, or Camdell staff.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Intellectual property
All content on the Camdell platform — including logos, design, text, and code — is owned by Camdell Technologies or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camdell is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question.
Dispute resolution
If you have a problem with an order, contact us first at help@camdell.com. We aim to resolve all disputes within 5 business days. For unresolved disputes, Kenyan law governs these terms and the courts of Nairobi have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of Camdell after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
